Karabük University School of Foreign Languages Conducted The Placement Test

With the announcement of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) 2023 Placement Results, a Placement Test was held for the candidates who were placed in the programs with foreign language preparatory class at Karabük University.

Following the announcement of the placement results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) on June 17-18, 2023, the Placement Test was held at the School of Foreign Languages for approximately 2 thousand candidates who were placed in programs with foreign language preparatory class at Karabük University.

 
School of Foreign Languages Director Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Polat gave information about the exam and said, "As Karabük University School of Foreign Languages, we aim to provide a qualified foreign language education in order to facilitate our young people's access to information at the international level, to strengthen their communication skills, to gain the awareness of being a world citizen and to ensure that they are globally competitive in the 100th year of our Republic. In this context, today, as a first step, we are holding Placement Tests with the participation of approximately 2 thousand students to ensure that our students can receive foreign language education in classes appropriate to their level. We will start our education and training activities in four different level groups that we will create in line with the exam results on October 2, 2023. We wish success to all our students who will receive foreign language education in our School this year. Finally, I would like to express that our experienced and expert academic staff is with all our students in this process."
