PLACEMENT TEST I:
Only the following students can take this test:
  1. All students who will get English Preparatory Education at the School of Foreign Languages in the 2025-2026 Academic Year have to take the test. The students who do not take this exam cannot start their English Preparatory Education.
The following students cannot take this test:
  1. Repeat students (students who did not successfully complete the English Preparatory Education in the previous academic year) do not have to attend the classes if they fill in the Preparatory Class Proficiency Exam Application Petition between the specified dates. They can take two Proficiency Exams (PROFICIENCY EXAM I and PROFICIENCY EXAM VI). These students cannot take this test.
 

PROFICIENCY EXAM I:
Only the following students can take this exam:
  1.  Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST I” result is Level 4 (B1+/B2) can take this exam.
  2. Repeat students (students who did not successfully complete the English Preparatory Education in the previous academic year) do not have to attend the classes if they fill in the Preparatory Class Proficiency Exam Application Petition between the specified dates. They can take two Proficiency Exams (PROFICIENCY EXAM I and PROFICIENCY EXAM VI). These students can take this exam.
The following students cannot take this exam:
  1. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST I” result is Level 1, 2 or 3 (A1 - A2 - B1) cannot take this exam.
  2. Repeat students (students who did not successfully complete the English Preparatory Education in the previous academic year) who did not submit the Preparatory Class Proficiency Exam Application Petition between the specified dates cannot take the exam.


 
PLACEMENT TEST II-III-IV-V:
Only the following students can take these tests:
  1. Students who meet the requirements to take the “PLACEMENT TEST I” but could not take it on time can take this test.
The following students cannot take these exams:
  1. Students who do not meet the requirements to take the “PLACEMENT TEST I” cannot take these exams.
  2. Students who have already taken any of the PLACEMENT TESTS held in the relevant academic year cannot take these exams.
 


PROFICIENCY EXAM II-III-IV-V:
Only the following students can take these exams:
  1. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST II” result is Level 4 (B1+/B2) can take the “PROFICIENCY EXAM II”.
  2. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST III” result is Level 4 (B1+/B2) can take the “PROFICIENCY EXAM III”.
  3. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST IV” result is Level 4 (B1+/B2) can take the “PROFICIENCY EXAM IV”.
  4. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST V” result is Level 4 (B1+/B2) can take the “PROFICIENCY EXAM V”.
The following students cannot take these exams:
  1. Students whose “PLACEMENT TEST II-III-IV-V” result is Level 1, 2 or 3 (A1 - A2 - B1) cannot take this exam.
  2. Students who did not take the “PLACEMENT TEST II-III-IV-V” cannot take this exam.


 
PROFICIENCY EXAM VI:
Only the following students can take this exam:
  1. Repeat students (students who did not successfully complete the English Preparatory Education in the previous academic year) do not have to attend the classes if they fill in the Preparatory Class Proficiency Exam Application Petition between the specified dates. They can take two Proficiency Exams (PROFICIENCY EXAM I and PROFICIENCY EXAM VI). These students can take this exam.
  2. Students who fail Level 4 (B1+/B2) as of the end of the 4th Period in the active academic year because of grade point average and not because of absenteeism can take this exam.
The following students cannot take this exam:
  1. Repeat students (students who did not successfully complete the English Preparatory Education in the previous academic year) who did not submit the Preparatory Class Proficiency Exam Application Petition between the specified dates cannot take this exam.
  2. Students who exceed the attendance limit at Level 4 (B1+/B2) as of the end of Period 4 in the active academic year cannot take this exam.
  3. Students who do not get education at Level 4 (B1+/B2) during Period 4 in the active academic year cannot take this exam.
