SFL Student Gatherings
A meeting titled “School of Foreign Languages Student Gatherings” was held by our school with the aim of strengthening a student-centered management approach, directly evaluating students’ views regarding academic and administrative processes, and maintaining institutional communication on a more effective basis.
The meeting, attended by the administration of the School of Foreign Languages, was conducted under the director of SFL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Polat. Throughout the meeting, comprehensive exchanges of views were held regarding the academic processes carried out within our school, educational activities, assessment and evaluation practices, student support services, physical and technological facilities, and all services provided to our students.
As a reflection of a participatory and transparent management approach, students’ requests, opinions, suggestions, and complaints were carefully listened to during the meeting, and the issues raised were recorded for further evaluation by the relevant academic and administrative units. Throughout the session, students were encouraged to share their experiences regarding educational processes, while the strengths of current practices and areas requiring improvement were discussed from multiple perspectives.
In addition, information was provided regarding ongoing efforts to support students’ academic success, practices aimed at enhancing the quality of foreign language education, and future planning intended to improve student satisfaction. It was emphasized that the meetings, based on mutual communication and constructive feedback, would make significant contributions to the institutional development of our school.
We would like to thank all our students who participated in the meeting and contributed to the process with their valuable opinions and suggestions.
