SOSYALFEST 2025 Project Information Meeting Held at the School of Foreign Languages
An informative meeting was held at Karabük University School of Foreign Languages to encourage students to develop projects in the field of social sciences and to actively participate in national academic events such as the SOSYALFEST Social Sciences Festival 2025.



The meeting was attended by the Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT, Vice Director Lecturer Dr. Kürşat ARSLAN, Lecturer Hüseyin ATASEVEN, and Assistant Head of the English Preparatory Department Lecturer Şakir AŞÇI.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided regarding the SOSYALFEST 2025 project application process, eligibility criteria, competition categories, and evaluation principles. The importance of developing original ideas through interdisciplinary approaches and offering solution-oriented projects with potential social impact was emphasized.



To support communication and guidance throughout the process, a dedicated SOSYALFEST WhatsApp channel was launched. Through this platform, students are provided with direct access to resources and guidance. Additionally, successful sample project proposal files from previous years were shared with participants as references.



At the end of the session, volunteer academic advisors from the School of Foreign Languages were assigned to assist students during their project development process. These advisors will guide the students step-by-step, helping them to prepare high-quality and well-structured project proposals.



In his closing remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT highlighted that producing projects in the field of social sciences contributes significantly to students’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and social awareness. He wished all participants great success in the upcoming festival.
