Strategic Collaboration Meeting for International Students at the School of Foreign Languages

On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM, a pivotal coordination meeting was convened under the leadership of the School of Foreign Languages to enhance the educational experience of international students. The meeting brought together key representatives, including Dr. Kürşat Arslan, Deputy Director, and Nergis Akyürek, Staff Member, from the School of Foreign Languages; İlker Erdönmez, Deputy Coordinator, Esad Kamil Tosun, Deputy Coordinator, and Özgür Özdemir, Staff Member, from the International Student Coordination Office; Yasin Kaya, Staff Member, from the Student Affairs Department; and Mustafa Karaca, Deputy Director, and Ahmet Ersöz, Staff Member, from the TÖMER Center.
The meeting comprehensively reviewed all administrative processes affecting international students, including registration, residence permits, documentation, and academic procedures. Discussions focused on ensuring the accuracy of student information systems, streamlining communication between units, and devising collaborative solutions to address challenges. Special attention was given to enhancing operational synergy between the School of Foreign Languages and other departments.
Chaired by Dr. Kürşat Arslan, the meeting resulted in actionable steps to make international students’ educational processes more effective and seamless. Participants reached a consensus on the need for ongoing inter-unit cooperation to advance the university’s internationalization objectives, reinforcing a commitment to a supportive and inclusive academic environment.
