Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT; Deputy Directors Lecturer Dr. Kürşat ARSLAN and Lecturer Hüseyin ATASEVEN; Vice Heads of the Preparatory Department Lecturer Şakir AŞÇI and Lecturer Okan DEDE; School Secretary Abdullah ÖZEL; and all administrative staff members.
The main objective of the meeting was to ensure the smooth execution of current and planned administrative processes throughout the 2024–2025 Academic Year and to develop solutions for potential challenges encountered during these processes. In his opening remarks, the School Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT, provided a comprehensive evaluation of the previous academic term, sharing insights regarding achieved successes, implemented activities, and encountered difficulties. He also outlined the measures taken to address such challenges.
Another key agenda item was the discussion of planned training and support activities aimed at enhancing the professional development of administrative staff and improving the overall quality of service delivery. In this context, in-service training programs, organizational planning, and process improvement initiatives were thoroughly reviewed to ensure more effective and efficient service to students. Suggestions were received to foster motivation and facilitate the adaptation of staff to their duties.

Additionally, the meeting addressed recent reports indicating that certain groups at various universities have made calls for class and exam boycotts and have allegedly pressured students to participate in such actions. It was emphasized that such acts disrupt the continuity of education, violate student rights and freedoms, and constitute disciplinary offenses under the Higher Education Institutions Disciplinary Regulations. In this regard, the importance of ensuring that all educational activities, including classes and examinations, are carried out in a timely and appropriate manner within our School was highlighted. Administrative staff were advised to remain vigilant and responsive to any actions that may jeopardize the security and order of the educational environment.
Following comprehensive discussions on all agenda items, it was unanimously decided to proceed with the outlined administrative actions and procedures. The meeting concluded with an exchange of well wishes and a celebration in anticipation of the upcoming Ramadan Feast. It was also agreed that the next administrative staff meeting would be held three months later.
