Karabük University School of Foreign Languages held a comprehensive meeting titled “Meeting with Administrative Staff” with the start of the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The meeting was attended by School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT, Vice Director Dr. Lecturer Kürşat ARSLAN, Vice Director Lecturer Hüseyin ATASEVEN, Vice Head of Foreign Language Preparatory Department Lecturer Şakir AŞÇI, School Secretary Abdullah ÖZEL and all administrative staff attended.
The main goal of the meeting was to ensure that the 2024-2025 Academic Year runs smoothly and to develop solutions to the difficulties encountered in administrative processes. School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT made a comprehensive evaluation of the achievements and studies carried out in the previous academic year in his opening speech. He also shared the challenges faced and the measures taken to overcome these challenges.
Vice Director Dr. Lecturer Kürşat ARSLAN gave detailed information about the general functioning of the school, administrative processes and organizational structure in his speech for the newly joined administrative staff. Vice Director Lecturer Hüseyin ATASEVEN, on the other hand, discussed the education-teaching system, measurement-assessment processes and the improvement efforts to be made to make these processes more efficient.
Vice Head of Foreign Language Preparatory Department Lecturer Şakir AŞÇI provided important information on how to integrate the educational materials used with administrative processes and made suggestions on how administrative staff can support students more in these processes.
Another important agenda item of the meeting was the training and support required for administrative staff to serve students more effectively during the 2024-2025 academic year.Trainings, planning and development activities to be carried out in order to increase the motivation of the staff and make their work processes more efficient were discussed.
At the closing of the meeting, School Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT thanked for the devoted work of the administrative staff and emphasized that such meetings will continue. Stating that the feedback from the administrative staff plays a major role in the success of the School, Polat stated that the suggestions and contributions of the administrative staff will make a significant contribution to improving the administrative processes of Karabük University School of Foreign Languages and increasing the quality of education. He also stated that these meetings will continue to contribute to the adaptation of administrative staff to business processes and their professional development.
