Summer School Student Meetings
Karabuk University School of Foreign Languages organised a comprehensive and productive meeting with the students participating in the summer school under the name of ‘Summer School Student Meetings’. School Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT,  Vice Director of the School, Lect. Hüseyin ATASEVEN and Vice Head of Foreign Language Preparatory Department Lect. Şakir AŞÇI attended the meeting to introduce the education  system to the students taking part in the summer school and to inform them about the language learning process.
 
Dr. Mustafa POLAT emphasised the general structure of the summer school and the advantages it provides to students and shared detailed information about the methods to be applied in the education system and the measurement and evaluation processes. Thanks to this information, students stated that they had the opportunity to better understand the academic processes they will encounter during the summer school.
 
In the meeting, students were also informed about the educational materials used. Lect. Hüseyin ATASEVEN provided important information about the variety of materials and how students can use these materials more effectively. Suggestions were made for students to be more active and efficient in the lessons.
 
Listening to the needs and demands of the students was one of the most important parts of the meeting. Lect. Assist. Şakir AŞÇI received feedback about the difficulties, needs and expectations of the students. Students had the opportunity to share the problems they experienced during the education process and their suggestions for solutions. 
 
At the end of the meeting, School Director Dr. Prof. Dr. Mustafa POLAT thanked the students and emphasised that such meetings will continue and that student feedback is of great importance in improving the quality of education. The active participation and suggestions of the students were evaluated as an indicator of the student-oriented education approach of Karabük University School of Foreign Languages.
 
Karabük University School of Foreign Languages will continue to organise similar activities in order to increase student satisfaction and academic success.
