In line with the vision of increasing the interest in solving social problems by hosting many activities such as social model design competitions, interviews and events on various topics, including innovative and problem-solving-oriented approaches at Karabük University and Turkey's national social sciences move, Executive Board Members and academic staff who took part in the realisation of Turkey's first national and international Social Sciences Festival Socialfest, which was hosted by Karabük University on 2-3 March 2024, were given certificates of appreciation with the programme held in Karabük University Senate room.
Speaking at the programme, Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kıışık said, "We have completed our Social Sciences Festival Sosyalfest with great success. When we look at the performance we have shown from the beginning of the work to today, we see that we have indeed carried out this programme with a superior success. In terms of participation, we see that there is a great participation close to 100 thousand in the field. With 400 booth activities, 123 social activities, middle school, high school and university competition booths, it was a magnificent organisation. The public was extremely pleased, the students were extremely pleased and we completed our Socialfest with an extremely beautiful picture. You really have a great contribution to this success.
