KBU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık Met with Academics, Administrative Staff,and Their Families at SFL at an Iftar Dinner
Karabük University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık met with academics, administrative staff, and their families at an iftar dinner organized by the School of Foreign Languages.
The iftar dinner, organized by the School of Foreign Languages at the University House, was attended by KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Elif Çepni, academics, administrative staff, and their families.
Rector Kırışık expressed his pleasure at meeting with academics, administrative staff, and their families at the iftar dinner organized by the School of Foreign Languages at KBÜ. Emphasizing the importance of foreign language education in making a global impact, Rector Kırışık highlighted those students receiving quality education in English preparatory classes is also a significant factor in terms of employment.
Rector Kırışık emphasized the need for the School of Foreign Languages, which has a young and dynamic team, to play an active role in all future planned events, as it has done in Sosyalfest. He stated that in this new century of our Republic, in line with the vision of the Turkish Century, Karabük University is committed to continuing its path as a Science-Centered Student-Friendly University, aiming for even greater achievements beyond the successes we have achieved so far.
At the end of the iftar program, Dr. Assistant Professor Mustafa Polat, the Director of the School of Foreign Languages, presented the latest issue of "the OWLS" magazine prepared by the school to Rector Kırışık and Vice Rector Çepni. Expressing his satisfaction with the publication of an English magazine by our university, Rector Kırışık emphasized the importance of such initiatives that support productive skills in language education and stressed the need for these efforts to continue to grow.
