A Training Program on Combating Addiction Organized at KBÜ
As part of the Addiction Prevention Training Program organized by the School of Foreign Languages at Karabük University, students were provided with education to raise awareness about substance addiction.

The Addiction Prevention Training Program, held at the 15 July Martyrs Conference Hall, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Karabük University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Ak, the Director of the School of Foreign Languages at Karabük University, Assistant Professor Mustafa Polat, the President of the Green Crescent Society Karabük Branch, Dr. Ahmet Ustaoğlu, academicians, and students.

Prof. Dr. İsmail Ak, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at KBÜ, emphasized the importance of combating substance addiction, the struggle against it, the necessity of not being addicted, and the role of students within the framework of the Addiction Prevention Training Program. Dr. Ahmet Ustaoğlu, the President of the Green Crescent Karabük Branch, stated that they planned to establish a smoke-free campus and conduct independent youth studies at Karabük University in the long term. Assistant Professor Mustafa Polat, the Director of the School of Foreign Languages at Karabük University, highlighted their efforts to combat addiction, alongside aiming for competitive education, especially in the context of education and employment on the international stage in the 100th year of our Republic, by organizing an informative conference to enlighten students.
